PIRG report blames Bush for high prices at the pump

A new report says Illinois consumers will pay much more than they should at the pump this year? because of President Bush's fuel economy policy. The Illinois PIRG report says that because the president did not increase gasoline mileage for cars and trucks four years ago... consumers nationwide are now spending 326-million dollars extra per year on gasoline. The changes would have saved about 500-thousand barrels of oil per day nationwide... and more than 18-thousand per day in Illinois.
