1940s Big Band, Swing Dance Musical Revue Coming to Coronado Performing Arts Center

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The Rockford Area Venues and Entertainment Authority (RAVE) has announced IN THE MOOD, a 1940s-themed big band revue, will be coming to the Coronado Performing Arts Center on Friday, November 15, 2013 with a matinee at 2:00 p.m. and an evening performance at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Friday, September 6th at 10:00 a.m. Ticket prices are $47, $37 and $27 and can be purchased at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office, 300 Elm Street, by calling 815-968-5222, online at www.thebmoharrisbankcenter.com, and through Ticket Master at www.ticketmaster.com. IN THE MOOD recreates defining moments with the hypnotic String of Pearls Big Band Orchestra, IN THE MOOD Singers & Swing Dancers from New York, sizzling choreography, sassy costumes and an authentic score of over fifty unforgettable hits including Chattanooga Choo Choo, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy (of Company B), In The Mood, Tuxedo Junction, Sing, Sing, Sing, Well Get It, Lili Marlene, Bugle Call Rag, On The Sunny Side of the Street, What Do You Do In The Infantry, Over There, He’s 1-A in the Army, A-1 In My Heart and so much more.
