Legislators focus on budget, keep capital construction program alive.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- State lawmakers are continuing to work on a budget deal, but Governor Rod Blagojevich and others are urging them not to forget about a capital construction program.
Legislators are trying to get a budget hashed out and leave town by Saturday, or they'll go into overtime session.
Blagojevich joined three legislative leaders to make another capital push at a Statehouse news conference.
Blagojevich say he isn't linking the two issues but believes they can both get done by this weekend. He wouldn't say how that might happen.
House Majority Leader Barbara Flynn Currie says House Democrats are still willing to talk about capital but sees the chances of it happening as -- quote "somewhere between little and nil."
