On Sunday May 18th at 11:24 a.m., the Rochelle Police Department received a request for an ambulance at the Baymont Inn for an unknown medical call. Upon the arrival of the Rochelle Fire and Police Departments, an unresponsive female was located and pronounced deceased.

The female was identified as Donna S. Taylor, 38, of Rochelle. The Illinois State Police (Crime Scene Investigations) and the Ogle County Coroner’s Office assisted the Rochelle Police Department with this case.

On Monday May 19th an autopsy was performed, and at this time no foul play is suspected.
