LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Democratic voters in two more states are weighing in on the ongoing race for the party's presidential bid.

Meanwhile, backers of both candidates are making high-profile pitches for support.

Women supporters of Hillary Rodham Clinton have taken out a full page ad in The New York Times. The ad paid for by the WomenCount political action committee demands that the former first lady stay in the race until every last vote is counted.

On the CBS "Early Show" Barack Obama adviser and former Senator Tom Daschle has claimed Democrats should start backing his candidate. Daschle says there's "clearly" a desire to unify.

Obama is just 17 delegates away from securing a majority of pledged delegates. He could cross that plateau with an anticipated strong win in Oregon.

Clinton is expecting a big victory in Kentucky.
