ELGIN, Ill. (AP) -- Police are searching for two men who fled the scene of a crash that killed an Elgin boy and a woman from Mexico.

Illinois State Police Sergeant Paul Carlos says the victims of Friday evening's crash were passengers in a sport utility vehicle traveling on Interstate 90 near Illinois Route 31.

A swerving car struck the SUV, causing it to roll several times.

Five-year-old Louis Cabrales of Elgin and 57-year-old Maria Guadarrama of Mexico were pronounced dead at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Three other SUV passengers were injured.

Police say the SUV's driver and another passenger abandoned the scene.
