About 60 dogs at the home of a Capon couple charged with animal cruelty have now been removed. Boone County Animal Control brought the animals to their facilities today. They'll be treated along with the 30 other dogs removed two weeks ago. It's too soon to say when adoptions may begin. Several cats and one dog remain at the Slater home. But once the dog is vaccinated and registered, it will live with the Slaters' daughter in Willowbrook. The couple will be back in court Thursday.
