Mamie McCullough was the guest speaker at Shelter Care's annual luncheon. McCullough overcame poverty with her eight siblings and widowed mother. She tries to inspire people to face life's challenges with courage and confidence.

Shelter Care Ministries is a local no profit agency who helps homeless families and those living with mental illness.

It was a budding time at Gensler Garden locations as dozens show up to donate to a good cause.

Today, was Rosecrance's annual flower day. Shoppers choose from Greenhouses filled with hanging baskets and potted plants. Proceeds from items bought will go to the substance abuse treatment center that helps adolescents in our area.
