There have been 15 shootings in Beloit over the last month. Twelve of those incidents have happened in the last five days. In response, the city of Beloit has a dozen people dedicating all their time to these shootings.
So far five people have either turned themselves in or were apprehended; several more suspects are still being looked into.
Warrants for parole violations have been issued for four men thought to be involved in the shooting.
Terrell Peppers is wanted on a temporary felony warrant for intentional homicide. Peppers is believed to have shot a man in the back in Beloit on Tuesday.
Beloit’s Police Captain Tyler says some of the men are involved in gangs, but he could not say whether or not the shootings are gang related.
