More than 150 people voiced their opinions and questions about the proposed new public library at Byron High school Wednesday night. They're talking about property the library bought across the street from its current location on Blackhawk Drive.
The board of trustees wants to build a bigger facility there, but aldermen say the city needs a business to move into the site. Mayor Scot Nason says the city doesn't oppose building a new library. He just doesn't like the proposed location.
