Wednesday tractors roared their way to the finish line in the tractor pull. Sunday the whole festival will end with a bang with a demolition derby.
Over the last 40 years the fair has transformed itself. Though showing livestock still remains to be one of the biggest events at the fair, there are also other events aimed at attracting the urban population.
Carnival gaming, country music concerts and the celebrity showmanship competition will all take place this week in Freeport.
Day passes to the fair are five dollars per person.
