The Belvidere Salavation Army is collecting school supplies for Boone County children.
The supplies will be distributed to more than 200 students from low income families. Major Vicki Cole says no child should have to go to school without supplies but donations have been slim this year.
You can drop off supplies at the Belvidere Salvation Army office, located at 422 South Main Street, Monday through Friday, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
Supplies will be distributed on August 4. For more information contact 544-3892.
