People who get traffic tickets don't have to pay their fines at the Winnebago County Courthouse from now on.
They're not getting off for free but instead of making a trip downtown they can pay online. It's one of three new features offered by the Winnebago County Courthouse.
There’s also a new public records viewing area for public inquiry. And the courthouse has a new self help legal center for people who want to file a lawsuit but can't afford an attorney.
To pay any criminal or traffic fines online just log on www.clericusmagnus.com/payment/winnebago/index.
