The 7th Annual Fields Project Arts Festival kicks off Saturday in Oregon. On Friday, we got a sneak peak at some "field art" from a plane.
A Celtic knot, a map of the U.S., Pac-man and a spider have been mowed into acres of grassland. Artists from all over the U.S. converge on Oregon nine days before the festival to immerse themselves in rural life and share their work, and on Sunday, you can experience the beauty at the arts festival.
The Free Fields Art Festival runs from 10 to 4 on Sunday at Mix Park in Oregon. Plane rides run from 9 to 4 at the Ogle County Airport on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $20. You can also check out the Eagles' Nest art collection at the Oregon Public Library.
