The unofficial word is Rockford may have a new place in the Guinness Book of World Records. The “egg-citing” news involves over 292,000 Easter eggs.
For the third year, “The Undertaker” tried for a world record. It seems as if this year might be his year to claim the title for hosting the world's largest Easter egg hunt.
Guinness requires the eggs must be well hidden, so this year 150 bales of straw were used.
Rockford's egg hunt is an event that has taken place for the past 30 years. It will take about four to six weeks to submit information and evidence to know if we broke the world record.
The current Guinness world record is 254,000 eggs for an egg hunt in Ontario, Canada.
