A study by the Pew Hispanic Center in Washington, DC estimated the number of undocumented in Wisconsin at 100,000 to 150,000, or about 40 to 54 percent of the foreign-born population.

California and Texas have the most undocumented immigrants.

About 57 percent of the nearly six million undocumented came to the U.S. from Mexico. President Bush and Mexico's President Vicente Fox planned to meet in Texas Wednesday to discuss Mexican immigration.
