Many of us may have received a brand new cell phone for the holidays. So, what about our old ones? Now we can recycle them for a good cause.
It's a program called Hope Line. We can drop off used phones from any wireless provider at Verizon stores nationwide. Then they'll be distributed to local shelters to help victims of domestic violence rebuild their lives.
The program also adds the number "#Hope" onto the victim's cell phone which immediately connects them to the national domestic violence hotline if needed.
