Pair Guilty in Eight-Year-Olds' Death

Two of the three men accused of shooting and killing an eight-year-old boy while he slept were found guilty of the murder.

Jurors found 20-year-old Tyjuan Anderson and 30-year-old Lumont Johnson guilty as charged. The two apparently went to Demarcus Hanson's grandmothers house on chestnut street in April looking for the young boy's uncle, Alex Dowther.

In testimony, eight-year-old Demarcus Hanson was asleep in a bedroom when his grandmother said she heard gunfire, called for Demarcus and heard nothing. Demarcus was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head. . Jurors determined Anderson and Johnson responsible for the death.

Sentencing has been set for Dec 12.

There is another trial for a third man accused in the death. Anthony Ross is set for trial in December.
