Lawmakers Call for Investigation Into Blagojevich Advisers

The Oases Redevelopment Project is a $94 million deal between the Illinois Toll Highway Authority, Wilton Partners and Exxon-Mobil.

Wilton chose Subway and Panda Express restaurants as part of the seven remodeled rest stops. The Chicago Tribune has reported those restaurants can be traced to Blagojevich advisers and campaign donors Tony Rezko and Christopher Kelly.

Blagojevich spokeswoman Abby Ottenhoff says nobody with ties to the administration benefited from the oases, so there's nothing to investigate, but Republican Senators Steve Rauschenberger and Christine Radogno say the attorney general should look into it.
