WHITE HOUSE (AP) -- President Bush says the Mitchell Report on drug use in baseball can lead to the conclusion "that "steroids have sullied the game."
But, in remarks in the White House Rose Garden, Bush cautioned against jumping to conclusions about the players named in the report.
The president also warned the players and owners to take the investigation seriously, and says he's "convinced they will."
Bush, who once owned the Texas Rangers, says the report could help put the steroid era "behind us."
