Rockford Police are looking for a woman they believe hit and killed a man on Tuesday.

A warrant has been issued for 19-year-old Shenika Price of Rockford for leaving the scene of an accident involving death.

Police say they recovered a gray Buick Skylark on Saturday believed to be the car involved in the accident. The car was found in a parking lot in the 3800 block of Harrison Avenue.

On Tuesday 51-year-old Paul Buehler was walking across 11th Street shortly before six o'clock when he was hit by a car. Buehler later died of severe head injuries at Swedish American Hospital.

Witnesses say a gray car, possibly a Buick, hit Buehler and then drove off heading north.
