Local High School Student Headed To U.S. Air Force

Congressman Don Manzullo (R-Egan) today announced that Joshua Earl Wilson of Rockford, Illinois, has received an appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, CO.

Joshua will graduate next spring from Rockford Guilford High School. At Guilford, Joshua is a member of the National Honor Society, the Guilford Honorary English Society, the Spiritual Leadership Team, and Treasurer of the Student Council. He is also an Eagle Scout and a member of his church’s youth group.

Joshua is also a scholar athlete who was a member of Guilford’s soccer, swimming and track teams. Joshua is the son of Earl and Carol Wilson of Rockford.

    I don't think this state needs another gambling casino. Too many people that really can't afford it use gambling to try to better their income. Instead it become another form of taxation, that they can't afford!
