Former Newspaper Mogul Conrad Black Being Sentenced

The fallen media baron will learn how long he'll spend in prison for his conviction for swindling Hollinger International shareholders out of millions of dollars.

Two other former Hollinger executives and a Chicago lawyer were also convicted and are due to be sentenced later today.

Prosecutors say Black should be sent to federal prison for up to 24 years, but few expect a sentence that stiff.

Still, prosecutors will likely ask U.S. District Judge Amy St. Eve to have the Black locked up as soon as the sentence is imposed.

As usual the executives will get a slap on the wrist for there wrong doing. Then they will tell the courts when they will go to jail, for how long, and where. The same old garbage that is done in the courts. Nice going judge.
