The Leaf Pickup Pilot Program will begin on Monday, Nov. 15 in the unincorporated areas of Parker Woods. The boundaries include north of U.S. 20 bypass/Linden Street, south of West State Street, east of Meridian Road and west of Memorial Avenue.
Leaves will also be picked up in two areas within Loves Park within the boundaries north of Torch Lite Trail, south of Harlem Road, east of Coach Lite Trail and west of Squire Lane, and north of Terra Trees Court/Yorkshire Lane/Snowmass Drive, south of Harlem Road, east of Fern Wood Drive, west of Harvey Road and the homes west of Coach Lite Trail on Harlem Road.
The Leaf pickup will continue as long as the weather permits.
Starting Wednesday, leaves will be picked up in the unincorporated portion of the Edgebrook area north of Guilford Road, south of Spring Creek Road, east of Alpine Road and west of Mulford Road.
Work crews will only pick up leaves and no bagged leaves will be picked up.
All leaves should be placed at the edge of the pavement no further than six feet away, and not in the roadway.
Future areas to be vacuumed will be notified via the television, radio and newspaper.
