Peterson's Lawyer Disputes Findings That Savio Was Murdered

CHICAGO (AP) -- A lawyer representing Drew Peterson disputes the findings of an autopsy on a former Bolingbrook police officer's third wife that concluded woman was murdered.

Lawyer Joel Brodsky says Doctor Michael Baden already had his mind made up before he conducted the autopsy Friday on Kathleen Savio's remains.

Baden says his results were independent, even though he already believed Savio was murdered before he performed the autopsy for free for the woman's family.

He also says his role as commentator on Fox News didn't influence his findings.

An investigation into Savio's 2004 death has been reopened in recent weeks after Peterson's current wife disappeared.

Twenty-three year old Stacy Peterson has been missing for three weeks.
