There's a new warning about West Nile virus.
The centers for disease control and prevention tells doctors the mosquito-borne illness can cause paralysis.
Doctors are being encouraged to test patients for the virus if they report sudden, painless paralysis.
Yesterday, health officials also suggested the virus can survive in donated blood for days and they say all blood donations will likely be screened for the virus as soon as a test can be developed.
