New Jobs for South Beloit

A California-based corporation moves into south Beloit, bringing new jobs.

Minarik Corporation, a motor-drive maker, broke ground Tuesday on a 1,000 square-foot addition to a closed factory in south Beloit. Production in the plant is scheduled to begin in January. President and CEO John Hegel says he picked the location over Two Rivers, Wisconsin, because several of the company's suppliers and customers are in northern Illinois.

Minarik is a national leader in the manufacture of high-tech motion control and automation systems.
