The Illinois EPA announced their fall collection schedule this week.
Drop-off sites include the Rock River Reclamation District on Kishwaukee and the Farm Bureau in DeKalb County.
Workers will collect products such as pesticides, oil-based paints and antifreeze. The EPA says the collections get potentially harmful chemicals out of homes, but also keeps them out of landfills through recycling.
The Rock River Reclamation District on Kishwaukee will be accepting products on all Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and Sundays 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. except for holiday weekends.
The DeKalb County Farm Bureau on West Prairie Drive in Sycamore will be accepting products only Saturday the 9th between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
