Chrysler workers officially have a new contract, but Belvidere employees are still on edge, as they wait to hear if the rumors are true and the plant's third shift will be cut.

I too am disappointed in the media, it usually causes frenzy...sometimes without due cause. If there are no confirmations on either the company's part or the Union side....there should be no story! Could you please set your sights on another story.....we at Chrysler really don't appreciate you adding to the confusion! Thanks for your consideration in the future, no facts=no story!

I'm very dissappointed in our local news. You are getting your story from a temp worker? International UAW President Ron Gettelfinger has already said that the third shift will be cut in december.
