All 552 members of the Winnebago Band programs, featuring kids from 5th grade to high school had an assembly to say thank you goes to Ellen DeGeneres and for good reason.
In the spring Ellen invited the entire band to play on the national show after she learned that her show bumped the bago band from the main stage at Universal Studios in Florida and now Ellen and VH1 has followed through on their promise to donate of 20 thousand dollars in band equipment.
The donations included a xylophone, two double horns, a baritone sax, a bass clarinet, a bassoon, two four valve euphoniums, and a tuba.
