A Rockford woman is recovering from a gunshot wound and now police are on the lookout for her boyfriend.
It happened early Sunday morning in the 1300 block of 11th Street.
Police say they think 27-year-old Anthony William went in Katherin Holliman's home and shot her in the leg.
Holliman was taken to the hospital where she's in stable condition and a warrant has been issued for the arrest of William.
He's described as a black male about 5’9” inches tall and 160 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and jeans.
