Police say DNA from Jarrett matches the 14-year-old student who was sexually assaulted. They also say both students identified Jarrett in a photo. The incidents happened last Friday night when the two teenagers left a Parker High School football game. Police say the rape victim was later taken to a nearby park. Right now, authorities don't believe the incidents were tied to anything at the football game.
"The department asked for video and still pictures from individuals attending the football game, as the investigation continued evidence indicated the crime was a chance encounter between the students and the suspect at a city park," said David Moore with Janesville Police.
Jarrett is currently in custody at the Rock County Jail. Police had arrested another man in connection with these crimes but he is no longer in custody.
