One of these Survivors, Leann Slaby, a native of Wisconsin, held a job as the 2002 spokesperson for Brian Bemis, a local car dealership.
The Ad Agency for the car company, Morning Star Media Group, hired the model after searching four months for the ideal spokesperson.
The CEO of Morning Star, Mike Weckerly, says working for Bemis gave Slaby her her first speaking role on television.
"She's tenacious and quite intelligent," said Weckerly.
It does not surprise Weckerly she was chosen to be on the Survivor.
"I think the combination of being cagey and worldly, and it's kind of unique that she sings in a cover band and is a research analyst, is a model, so she brings a lot of diversity and she'll do very well," he said.
