Water is the first thing some members of a local neighborhood think of when it comes to Labor Day. And some are still working on repairing their homes 4 years after a massive flood.

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Monday is the four year anniversary of Rockford's Labor Day floods. Hundreds of Rockford residents dealt with millions of dollars in damage to their homes and property. Streets and basements were covered in water. Many homeowners discovered the disaster as they returned from vacation.
