BELVIDERE (WIFR) -- Just in time to welcome sports fans into the Milt Brown Stadium, the Belvidere North Blue Thunder put some finishing touches on their new entrance-way and concessions.

Community member Milt Brown donated $150,000 to the Belvidere School District for construction of a concessions area.

Brown is already well know in Blue Thunder Country for donating $1 mil. to the construction of the stadium.

The Blue Thunder Boosters have pledged to match the $150,000 donation, to finish paying for the building.

"We are really excited about this, we're going to be able to offer a full menu of great products. And we're in a great position to host a football game here at Belvidere North," said Kim Larson, a member of the Blue Thunder Boosters,

The Blue Thunder hosted the Harlem Huskies, Friday night.

At halftime, Brown paid tribute to community leader Bob Turner, who passed away in 2008 and whose family also donated $10,000 to the project.
