A spokesperson for Lowe's says due to the company's hurricane relief efforts the opening of a new Millwork Facility in Janesville has been pushed back from September to the first week in October.
This facility will manufacture interior and exterior doors sold under the Reliabilt brand at Lowe’s. It will also make new and replacement door displays for Lowe's stores in the region.
The new facility is located at the site formerly occupied by General Motors. It is expected to create at least 100 new jobs for the community.
There are still 30 positions that need to be filled. People can apply at the Rock County Job Center or the administrative offices of the new Millwork Facility.
