Friday night, officers met in closed session at the union hall to discuss a City Hall picket planned for Monday night. The move follows an overwhelming vote of no-confidence on Chief Epperson. The union hopes the upcoming picket will let him and the community know that there's not just a small group of officers upset with the current administration. "Basically the administration has been quoted repeatedly saying that a small segment of officers don't like change and the no confidence vote shows it's not a small segment of officers," said Bruce Brannum, a union spokesman. Brannum adds that the union wants to bring it's message to the public more often....something they haven't done in the past.
