Last day for in-house absentee voting
Absentee Ballots are available for City of Rockford voters at the Board of Election Commissioners, 301 S. 6th St. in Rockford. Office hours for absentee voting are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays and 9:00 a.m. to Noon on Saturdays. The last day to vote and absentee ballot in the office of the Board of Election Commissioners is Monday, Nov. 1, 2004.
A request for a mailed absentee ballot may be made by calling 987-5750. A signed application must be in the Board of Election Office before a ballot can be mailed out. Thursday, Oct. 28 is the last day absentee ballots can be mailed to voters.
Absentee voting in the Winnebago County Clerk's Office starts Oct. 12
Regular hours for absentee voting in the office are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Extended hours for absentee voting are Saturday, Oct. 23 & 30 from 8:00a.m. to 12:00 noon.
