Obama Says Voters, God Should Judge Him, Not Keyes

Obama says he does not question the religious beliefs of Republican candidate Alan Keyes and he wishes Keyes would show him the same consideration.

Obama says he will let God judge whether he is a good Christian and Illinois voters judge whether he will make a good senator.

Keyes said yesterday that Obama's support of abortion rights means Jesus could not vote for him. He singled out Obama's opposition to a bill that supporters said would have protected any fetuses that survived an attempted abortion.

Critics said the bill was a political stunt that could have restricted all abortions.
