WINNEBAGO COUNTY (WIFR) -- Members of the Winnebago County Board want to make sure concealed carry gets passed in Illinois.
That's why Tuesday night a group of board members discussed sending a resolution to Springfield that would urge lawmakers to craft a fair concealed carry law. The State Supreme Court struck down a previous ban on concealed carry. Now lawmakers have less than six months to write a new law . Local county board members say they want to make sure whatever is passed isn't too restrictive.
