- Blagojevich Comes to L.A. to Plug Reality Show
ARCADIA, Calif. -- Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich can't go to Costa Rica to be in a reality TV series but he still hopes to have a role in the show. Rod Blagojevich has filmed a promotional spot for NBC's "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" He was strapped into a harness and hoisted in front of a blank "green screen" to simulate a parachute jump. Wind machines mussed his famous mop of hair. A judge has refused to give the ex-governor permission to travel abroad while he faces trial on racketeering, fraud and other charges. Blagojevich says he's just trying to support his family. He's comparing himself to other Americans who've lost their jobs, adding "you've just got to keep moving and knocking on doors."
