CNN - (AP/WIFR) The broadcasting legend says he'll step aside from hosting his prime-time show, "Larry King Live," later this fall.

The 76-year-old says he wants to spend more time with his wife and two young sons.

King got his TV start in 1985, when he went from hosting an overnight radio talk show. Along the way, King interviewed more than 50,000 people from Nelson Mandela to Frank Sinatra to Martin Luther King.

King will continue hosting periodic specials on CNN.
