Nelson Formally Announces for Lt. Gov.
State Representative Tom Nelson formally announced his candidacy for lieutenant governor Tuesday in Kaukauna.

KAUKAUNA, Wis. (AP) -- The Democrat has been in the state Assembly since 2004 and was elected Majority Leader in 2008.
He faces a crowded field for lieutenant governor. Three other Democrats, four Republicans and a Libertarian are running to replace incumbent Barbara Lawton, who has chosen not to seek re-election.
