WASHINGTON (AP) -- Barack Obama has drawn even closer to securing the Democratic Party's presidential nomination.

An Associated Press tally finds that Obama won at least 43 delegates from yesterday's primaries in Kentucky and Oregon. Hillary Rodham Clinton has a minimum of 56. There are still four more delegates to be determined in Oregon.

That leaves Obama fewer than 70 delegates from the 2,026 needed to clinch the nomination. He has a total of 1,961 to Clinton's 1,779.
