Magic Waters Job Fair
The Rockford Park District is offering 2010 seasonal employment opportunities at Magic Waters, and Sand Park, Alpine, and Harkins pools at the Summer Job Splash event.

Rockford Park District is looking for customer service-oriented people to apply for 2010 seasonal employment opportunities at Magic Waters, and Sand Park, Alpine, and Harkins pools at the Summer Job Splash event to be held Tuesday, December 29, 2009, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Indoor Sports Center (ISC), 8800 E. Riverside Blvd., Loves Park.
Job opportunities include: lifeguards, cashiers, Learn to Swim instructors, and positions in customer service, food and beverage, and group sales. Applicants must be age 16 or older, and job interviews will be conducted on site. Applicants should bring their resumé and dress appropriately for an interview.

Applications for other seasonal Park District facilities and program positions are available online at www.rockfordparkdistrict.org or in person at the Park District Webbs Norman Center office downtown, 401 S. Main St., Rockford, Mondays-Fridays, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
The Park District estimates that there will be approximately 140 summer seasonal positions to fill in 2010.
