Salvation Army to Distribute over 2,500 Coats
The Salvation Army’s 2009 Koats for Kids Drive has over 2500 warm winter coats ready for distribution.

The Salvation Army’s 2009 Koats for Kids Drive has over 2500 warm winter coats ready for distribution. This annual collection provides free coats for any needy child in Winnebago County.

Distribution will take place at The Salvation Army Social Service Building, 416 S. Madison Street.

Dates and hours will be:

Friday, October 30 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 31 from 8 a.m. to Noon

Or as long as the supply of coats lasts.

Families interested in accepting donations will need to bring photo identification and tell how many members are in the family.
