IceHogs goalie Jeff Glass made his NHL debut Friday night in Edmonton as the Blackhawks took on the Oilers.
The 32-year-old goaltender started in his first NHL game for Chicago, and finished with 42 saves, earning the number one Star of the Game in the Blackhawks' 4-3 win in overtime.
The 2004 third round draft pick has had a long career leading up to this point, 13 years in the making to finally reach the NHL. Glass is the second-oldest goaltender in the last 50 years to earn a victory in his NHL debut.
Glass will be back in goal Sunday night to start for the Blackhawks in his hometown of Calgary as they take on the Flames.
