7-8 small Granny Smith Apples, peeled and quartered
1 cup sugar
2 TBSP cinnamon
1 box Pillsbury refrigerated pie crusts
1/2 stick butter
2 TBSP flour
9-inch pie pan
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Roll out one pie crust in 9-inch pie pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and reduce heat to 325 degrees. Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon in large bowl. Add apples and toss until thoroughly coated. Place apple mixture in pie curst and top with second pie crust. (Make a design or lattice if you wish.) Dot top with small pats of butter and bake at 325 degrees for 65 minutes or until crust is golden brown. You may want to cover edges of pie crust with foil to prevent burning after 20 minutes. Let pie set before serving, approximately 1 1/2 hours.
