Woman unharmed after home invasion early Friday

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - Rockford police say a woman was not hurt during an overnight home invasion in the 4400 block of Grinnell Drive.

The 41-year-old victim says she was asleep when three armed men broke into her apartment shortly before 3 A.M. Friday morning. The men demanded money and were given an undisclosed amount of cash before running off.

The woman said the three suspects were black men between 18 and 24-years-old, between 5'8" and 5'10" and wearing black clothing. One of the suspects was armed with a hand gun.
