ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - Two men are able to force their way into a home and get away with some cash Sunday night.

Rockford police say it happened around 10 P.M. Sunday night at 2027 Sharon Avenue. They say one of the victims, a 22-year-old man, was walking to the driveway when two armed men approached him. The robbers forced the victim back into the home where four other men were inside.

Three of the men inside the home realized what was happening and were able to get out, but two men, the 22-year-old and an 18 year-old, were held at gunpoint inside. The robbers ordered the two men inside the home to lay on the floor while they took some cash.

Police say the robbers got away, possibly in a green four-door Pontiac. The robbers are described as black men in their 20s wearing all black and masks. None of the victims in the home were hurt during the robbery.
